Data that can be freely accessed, used, re-used, and re-distributed by anyone, anywhere, and for any purpose, which is made available online in open format, with no legal encumbrances and does not contain sensitive / protected information in accordance with the law.



What are the objectives of publishing open government data?



To achieve Sustainable Development Goals “SDGs” stipulated by the United Nations and open government data policy Objectives:




  1. Transparency and Enhance confidence in the government’s performance.

  2. Encouraging innovation in the provision of more responsive services important to people, pioneers, businesses and all relevant stakeholders.

  3. Increase the participation of civil society in policy and decision-making process.

  4. Social and Economic benefit.

What are the Principles of Open government data?



Government data shall be considered open if it is made public in a way that complies with the following 10 “OGD” principles and in accordance with the United Nations standards, and which mentioned in open government data policy:
