Minister Samirat to Talabat Partnership to enhance the digital economy and empower women in the governorates

The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Eng. Sami Al-Smeirat, visited Talabat, where he learned about a successful entrepreneurial model that reflects the effective partnership between the public and private sectors in supporting the digital economy and job creation.

The company has provided employment opportunities for more than 400 employees, along with more than 18,000 delivery agents, and has collaborated with more than 6,000 partners across the Kingdom's governorates.

The meeting discussed ways to collaborate on the Khairat Al-Dar initiative, launched by the Ministry with the aim of empowering women and productive families in the governorates by supporting local products and enhancing their access to markets.

This visit is part of a series of field visits conducted by the Minister, affirming the Ministry's commitment to implementing the vision of economic modernization on the ground by empowering communities and promoting digital transformation.
